Instagram adds new tools to protect kids

There will be new alert prompts within message threads for both users under the age of 18 who receives a message from an adult and for adults who send messages to younger users. After Messenger Kids, which has some 7 million monthly active users in 70 countries, Facebook is also looking to develop a new kids version of Instagram, according to a new report from BuzzFeed News.
